Driven by the ambition to become the best customer experience company in the mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP) sector, Haulotte structures its approach around "Drive Confidence". A dynamic that reflects the Group's determination to support its customers in a market environment that has become more complex than ever. A vision faithful to its mission: taking care of people.

The market for people lifting solutions has evolved profoundly in recent years. The offer has expanded, technologies have multiplied, and access to equipment has never been easier. This increased accessibility must not obscure a significantly more demanding reality. Industry players, both rental companies and industrial operators, must now deal with a combination of growing pressures: increased safety requirements, pressure on return on investment, and tighter regulatory and environmental constraints. In this context, choosing a lifting solution involves much more than its purchase price.

Every single decision directly impacts operational performance, team safety, and the ability to anticipate long-term changes. While choices may seem easier today, decision-making is more demanding than ever, with lasting impacts on overall performance.

Rental companies and industrial operators: increasingly complex trade-offs to manage

In practice, investment decisions are still largely driven by the purchase price. This perspective leads to the underrating of other criteria that are crucial over time: safety, total cost of ownership (TCO), support quality, or the ability to integrate regulatory and environmental constraints. Decision makers quickly find themselves facing structural trade-offs that go far beyond the initial choice:
  • purchase cost vs. overall cost
  • short term vs. long-term performance
  • immediate simplicity vs. operational and regulatory requirements
These trade-offs can create a significant gap between the initial choice and the actual performance of the equipment over its lifecycle. More than ever, investment decisions are becoming strategic and require a comprehensive understanding of operational, economic, and regulatory challenges.

Drive Confidence: a structured response to field challenges

It is precisely to address this complexity that Haulotte has structured its Drive Confidence approach. Faced with decisions that have become more strategic, the Group is evolving its role: beyond supplying equipment, it supports its customers by providing them with greater visibility, consistency, and control in their choices.

This approach is based on a simple conviction: in a demanding environment, professionals need clear benchmarks to make long-term decisions. Haulotte has therefore structured its 360° offering and support around four complementary pillars, fueled by a policy of continuous innovation aimed at providing concrete solutions to on-site challenges.

  • Safety: Prevent major accident risks and protect operators, transport personnel, and people around the machine.
  • Success: Optimize the performance, overall cost, and profitability of equipment over its entire lifecycle.
  • Support: Guarantee business continuity through reliable, day-to-day assistance backed by an extensive service network.
  • Sustainability: Anticipate regulatory and environmental developments.
This approach translates into solutions that secure operational personnel, optimize equipment performance, ensure business continuity, and support customers on a daily, long-term basis. These principles take on their full meaning in the field, as evidenced by feedback from Haulotte customers.

Drive Confidence: feedback from the field

HENRIK R. BERGHEIM - Managing Director at Ringerike Liftutleie
A rental player in Norway, Ringlift must reconcile the profitability of its fleet with operational continuity, in a context where every downtime directly impacts performance.
We keep a significant portion of our fleet as Haulotte machines because of their lifespan. We can operate them for nearly 20 years while continuing to provide the same level of service to our customers. The replacement decision becomes almost secondary, as the machines remain high performing over time. In our business, the key challenge is to minimize downtime as much as possible. We save a lot of time thanks to a solid knowledge of the machines and the ability to repair quickly, using standardized and OEM-certified parts. This allows us to limit stoppages, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain optimal fleet operation.

The quality of Haulotte machines has played a crucial role in reducing downtime. This is also due to the highly qualified personnel working for us. The training and knowledge sharing provided by Haulotte are also very important. For example, we own a 2014 Haulotte HT67 RTJ PRO that has experienced only a few breakdowns over the past 11 years. We also own a 2018 HA80 RTJ PRO, which has had only ONE breakdown worth mentioning over the past 7 years. Of course, we have had and will continue to have machines with a less favorable history than this one. But these specific machines demonstrate the potential for future satisfaction of our customers by renting a Haulotte machine."

Drive Confidence: feedback from the field

Antonio Vitiello, Founder of Logcenter
Logcenter, an Italian company based near Naples specializing in logistics and material handling solutions, operates in an environment where business continuity and equipment reliability are crucial.
"It is very important for us to know that we can count on an organized structure behind us, capable of assisting us with targeted solutions to any issues that may arise. We chose Haulotte for its range of products and solutions, but what also guided our choice was an available and attentive customer service team that supports us in times of need or trouble and assists us in maintaining our machines. We have also set up training sessions with the manufacturer for our sales team so they can understand all the main features of Haulotte machines and offer them in the best possible way to our own customers. We will soon be undertaking technical training aimed at our internal workshop to help us provide the best possible assistance to our customers, with more specifically technical support. The goal is for all our workshop employees to have the necessary tools to provide the highest level of service."
