Haulotte’s roadshow in China got great attentions!

Last November Haulotte announced to the Chinese market the upcoming launch of products with a new engine that meet the latest emission standard of China, named “National IV”. At first the articulating boom with the HA16 RTJ, and the telescopic booms with the HT23 RTJO & the HT28RTJO will be targeted and available as a priority.

What about this new standard?

The “National IV” (upgrade from Tier 3) is a new standard regarding engine emissions for the non-road machinery, from 2022 December 1st, all the non-road machinery selling to customer should be China IV compliant. With a strong commitment to adapt to the Chinese market, Haulotte became the first MNC (multi-national company) in the Aerial Work Platform industry launched its products with the “National IV” regulation.

Meet new standard and customer through proximity

To make this major change known, Haulotte China launched a national roadshow on the theme "Easy go with National IV". During a D-Day customers from all over the country have experienced new products. The roadshow spanned the core cities of four regions in China, with a total distance covered of 5000 kilometers (3100 miles). In addition to the articulated and telescopic booms with their new engines, the roadshow was also the opportunity to present to customers the scissor lifts OPTIMUM 8 equipped with lithium battery (launched and available only for China) and the new electric boom SIGMA 16.

The organizing team chose the theme “camping style” for the event, combining a relaxing and pleasant environment for customers with the respect of environmental goals by choosing reusable furniture and decoration.

On the activity side, most of the time was dedicated to the presentation of the new equipment and the user experience.

Mr JIN from ZHIXIAN, a rental company based in Shanghai, shared his impressions about the roadshow: "Haulotte’s new 'National IV' products meet the latest national emission standards and will certainly become popular products in the market, that’s a great news! The scissors lift equipped with lithium batteries also shows that Haulotte's products are evolving as the Chinese market changes, and it give us more choices."

In addition to products, we also showed to customers added value solutions including services, maintenance, parts etc., which demonstrate Haulotte's determination and commitment to meet Chinese market expectations.”

Next stop for the roadshow will be in central China in January 2023.
